Registration is now OPEN for Exposition Theatre's mainstage production: Urinetown, the musical, written by Mark Hollman and Greg Kotis, directed by Odessa Rontogiannis. Urinetown imagines a not-so-distant reality deprived of natural resources, filled with greed, love, revolution, symbolism and... stuff like that. Equal parts satire and political commentary, Urinetown is a loving parody of the musical theatre genre itself.

Creative Differences: two scripts, three genres, six plays.
Two teams stage a comedy, two a tragedy, two a musical. We want to see how many worlds can be born from the same words.
The scripts arrive without character descriptions and stage directions. Every team gets its own director and cast. They work through the script alone. The individual interpretations are revealed on opening night. Everyone - casts, crew, directors, and audiences - enjoy the thrill of “creative differences” together.
MTC builds the frame around all of it and takes care of the details.
Who it's forYou don't need to be a professional to apply. We want to hear from everyone - beginners, emerging artists, students, returning performers — people from every background.
All you need is an interest in theatre, a collaborative spirit, a commitment to show up, and availability for the schedule below.
